Priorities
Nothing is more important than the health and welfare of our people. We believe that every accident, and therefore every injury, is preventable. That philosophy is embedded into our culture. Although safety is everyone’s concern, Goebel Construction’s management accepts the responsibility of providing a safe work environment to all of our employees.
Our company programs are structured to meet or exceed industry standards for health, safety and the environment. We nurture an Injury and Illness Free environment (IIF) where everyone truly believes that zero incidents is an attainable goal. All of our employees have “Stop Work Authority” and are expected to use it if conditions are not safe. We believe in doing it safely or not at all. There is always time to do it right.
Practices
Safety is a continuous journey. A variety of tools and programs assist us in achieving our goals. We’re transparent about our safety practices and record. Clients can view our statistics and programs with the following compliance organizations:
- ISNET
- Damage Information Reporting Tool (DIRT)
- Industrial Training Services (ITS)
Our Record
Through innovative training and education programs, we provide our employees and subcontractors with the tools, knowledge and resources they need to increase safety and reduce risk. We have a track record of keeping our employees and work sites safe.
As regulations and procedures change, so does our training. It’s a continuous effort that takes everyone’s support and dedication to be successful.
